Welcome to Youth Day, a dedicated gathering for young First Nations leaders, learners, innovators, and future changemakers. This day is designed to create space for youth to explore opportunities in energy, natural resources, environment, governance, trades, technology, and community leadership. Through meaningful conversations, hands on learning, cultural grounding, and connection with industry and community leaders, Youth Day supports the next generation in seeing themselves as leaders today — not just leaders of tomorrow.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Saskatchewan First Nations Energy & Natural Resources Youth Day, hosted as part of the Saskatchewan First Nations Energy & Natural Resources Forum. Today is about celebrating the leadership, knowledge, creativity, and potential of First Nations youth. You are not simply the leaders of tomorrow — you are leaders today. Your voices, your ideas, and your lived experiences are foundational to the decisions being made now and into the future. As First Nations continue to shape the future of energy, natural resources, environmental stewardship, economic development, and governance, youth must be part of the conversation. Your participation matters. Your questions matter. Your dreams matter. This gathering is an opportunity to learn, connect, explore career pathways, and see the many ways First Nations youth can lead in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, trades, business, culture, lands, and leadership. We are honoured to have you with us and look forward to a day of learning, inspiration, and connection.

Youth Day brings together First Nations youth, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, leaders, educators, industry representatives, government partners, and community organizations for a full day of learning and connection.
